About LEE Film

LEE Film is an independent production company, producing film and TV series with focus on animated film for the very youngest alongside documentaries for an adult audience.

We develop and produce our own ideas as well as acquire rights to original works, and we also handle international sales.

The company was founded in August 2011 by Linda Hambäck, and has since then produced several animation films and series.

In Sweden, LEE Film holds a strong position as producer of animation for the very youngest. The productions are made simultaneously for the big screen and television and in Sweden, a LEE Film project is often a child’s very first theatrical experience.

LEE Film holds international rights to all projects produced by the company in addition to some works produced by Hambäck during her time at FilmTecknarna. (If interested, please contact Linda Hambäck.)

The vision of the company is to work in small, creative teams, so that the artistic approach is consistent throughout the process. We constantly strive to be the market leader in the segment in terms of quality and creativity. Key words for the company are tolerance and equality at all levels, something that should be seen on screen as well as be the foundation of how business is run.

We always want to see a project’s full potential, and besides production and sales of the animated films, LEE Film has published the music from the film What if…, featuring Nina Persson.
